Our US Sailing certified instructors provide a full day of training on the water at the Augusta Sailing Club on Clarks Hill Lake (Lake Strom Thurmond).
You'll quickly be out on the water, rigging, steering, tacking, and jibing, and come away with knowledge and experience in the basics of sailboat handling.
Consider inviting a friend to sign up too and join in the fun. Classes are small, so you get plenty of personal attention.

Students on the water at Clarks Hill Lake
Our fleet of Fulcrum Rockets went into service this season, and students have been sailing them all summer. They're modern 14-foot dinghies — light (90–100 lbs), stable, forgiving, and far easier to rig than traditional training boats. Roomy cockpit, quick setup, more time actually sailing.
They're also fun enough that you'll want to keep going after the weekend is over.
