Augusta Community sailing has received equipment donations from several generous donors. We could not run programs without their support. 

• 6 optis (youth sailboat used for training and learning)

• 6 420 (2 person sailboat used in high school and college sailing)

• JY15 (3 person sailboat)

• 5 Sunfish (versatile 1 or 2 person sailboat for training)

• 13' RIB with 50 HP outboard for coaching

• Spirit of America equipment for youth boater safety education courses

  • 3 Hunter 15 (3-4 person sailboat)

  • Kayaks, canoes, paddleboards

  • 4 small power boats

What does ACS need?

• ACS can accept any type of sailboat donation. 

• Volunteers- We need volunteers that can help teach sailing, power boating, or paddling. But we also need people with some specific talents willing to chair some areas- PR/Marketing, Fundraising, Grant Writing, Website/Newsletter Editor, Photography/Videography, Event Planning, Powerboat Maintenance, Sailboat Maintenance.
